managing the environment requires collaboration

  • Data collection, digitization & analysis: Terrain (DEM/DTM); Geology & Lithology; Human infrastructure (Roads, Railroads, adjacent Settlements etc.); National & Regional Development Plans; Digital Spatial Data - Cellular,  GPS and Social Media geoprocessing.

  • Vegetation Analysis & Classification: collect, integrate and analyze Remote Sensing & Ground Surveys vegetation data; Classification of vegetation, landcover & forests types.

  • Recreation Planning: Digital and analogical analysis of recreational potential within the regional context; Identify & characterize recreation centers, points of interests and routes; Prepare integrative vehicular, cycling and pedestrian movement schemes; Programmatic, conceptual and detailed design of visitor centers.

  • Fire Prevention Modeling & Planning: Digital and analogical analysis of wildfire history, hazards & risks; Analyze fire response logistical & operational capacity; Planning Fuel Breaks location, size & composition; Mitigating the negative impacts of new & existing fuel breaks on scenery and ecology.

  • Ecology & Conservation: Collect, map & analyze ecological background data from various resources; Identify habitats, rare & endemic species, regional & local eco-corridors; Analyze potential threats – crossing infrastructure, adjacent development, invasive species, habitat loss; Prepare a detailed Ecology & Conservation Management Plan.

  • Heritage & Cultural Management: analyze historic & cultural significance; Identify & map historic, cultural & spiritual points of interest; Prepare guidelines for protection of specific views & visual basins; Programmatic & conceptual design for the integration of historic sites, monuments and shrines within the landscape.

  • Production, Infrastructure & Resources Management: Analyze the potential impacts of commercial activities and linear infrastructure (Roads, Utilities etc.) on the landscape; Identify, map & plan Infrastructure Corridors; Prepare mitigation guidelines for commercial & infrastructure operations on public land.

  • Public Participation & Consultation: Integrate public opinion into regional and landscape planning, through information & consultation sessions. Integrate inputs from planners, government officials, academics and the general public to create better, inclusive public open spaces.
